The Sustainable Supply Chain International Student Competition – organised by the ISEKI-Food Association in collaboration with UNIBO-Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, Italy, as part of the NextFOOD project – has student teams from universities worldwide competing to find the best solutions to a specific production or process problem/challenge in sustainable food systems. The project challenge during this 1st cycle was:

How can we define and ensure holistic and measurable quality that consumers understand?

During the final virtual workshop, student teams will present their projects and eventually the winning team will be announced! The winning team will present the project at Aquaculture Europe 2019(link is external), Berlin DE, 7-10 October 2019 organised by the in Berlin DE, 7-10 October 2019 organised by the European Aquaculture Society and at the Nextfood Annual Meeting 2020 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

The workshop is open to anyone interested in sustainable aquaculture, virtual learning and participatory education and action-learning.
